ROVEMA VPX 320 for Cement Powder Packaging in 2–5 kg Bags
We are proud to have delivered a third Rovema packaging machine to RYWA, our long-standing customer in Germany’s construction chemicals industry. The project involved upgrading a Rovema VPX 320 packaging machine with an integrated SDX dosing system, specifically configured for packaging cement powder in 2 kg and 5 kg bags.
The need for a new packaging solution
To increase production capacity and gain greater flexibility, Rywa was looking for an additional packaging machine capable of producing larger 5 kg stand-up pouches with carrying handles, while accommodating different packaging film materials. The goal was to increase overall capacity by approximately 10–15%, while keeping the existing machines operational to support production during peak periods. To meet these requirements, DLPACK supplied a ROVEMA VPX 320 from its stock, originally built in 1993, and overhauled it with a Platinum Upgrade Package. This comprehensive upgrade modernized the machine’s mechanical and electronic systems, restoring it to near-new condition in both appearance and performance.
Following the upgrade, the machine can achieve production speeds of:
- Up to 9 bags per minute for 2 kg bags
- Up to 6 bags per minute for 5 kg bags
