Since January 9, 2020, DL Packaging BV from Oosterhout has been part of the ROVEMA Group, headquartered in Fernwald, Germany. DL Packaging is the leading supplier of refurbished vertical form-fill-seal machines and accessories, as well as a new proprietary vertical form-fill-seal machine. The company continues to operate from Oosterhout with the same team and brand name.
Both companies are looking forward to working together and see many benefits and opportunities. Director Leo van der Vorm stated: "Since 1996, DL Packaging has demonstrated that there is a large market in Europe for well-refurbished vertical form-fill-seal machines, and in recent years also for our new proprietary VFFS machine. The approximately 600 DL packaging machines we have delivered so far speak for themselves."
With this acquisition, Rovema expands its range in the retrofit and new machine sector, gaining access to customers in the mid-market segment in particular. Director Ralf Buch added: "Through the collaboration with DL Packaging, ROVEMA strengthens the second-hand machine division and continues to invest in a sustainable business model where used machines can be brought into a second phase of use."
