Fully modernized Rovema VPI 260 Vertical Form, Fill & Seal (VFFS) machine
At DL Packaging, we’re well known for our food packaging solutions, but we also supply high-quality modernized machines for non-food applications. One recent example is the delivery of a fully modernized Rovema VPI 260 VFFS machine to a UK customer, in collaboration with the local Rovema agent. The machine is now being used to package pest control powder.

The customer opted for a complete upgrade package, which is our most commonly chosen option. This means we completely modernize and upgrade the machine to an as-new condition. Most importantly, the project is fully tailored to the customer’s specific requirements and product characteristics.
Key highlights
For this application, the VFFS machine is supported by a new SDX auger dosing system equipped with 2 auger screws, ensuring precise and consistent filling for 10g, 25g, and 50g portions.
What this machine is also capable of is producing pillow bags from paper film, highlighting our machines’ ability to handle paper-based packaging.
A completely new control system based on the Rovema P@ck-Control PLC manages all machine functions and integrates peripheral equipment such as photocells, printers, and label counters. Key features include:
- Real-time display of packaging speed (bags per minute)
- User-friendly operation via touch panel
- Memory for more than 100 programs with all settings
- Completely new cabling and wiring for maximum reliability
