At VGR Food, two vertical form-fill-seal machines with multihead weighers were put into operation six months ago. With an average capacity of seventy bags per minute per machine, ranging in weights from 3 grams to 300 grams, these machines package salad enhancers such as croutons, nuts, and seeds for customers in the industry, foodservice, and retail sectors.
